Amunet Snake Bracelet
It's here! Our spectacular snake bracelet based on an incredible ancient Romano-Egyptian example dating to the first century BC to AD. Spiral bracelets were very popular across the ancient world, and the snake's sinewy form was perfectly suited to be worn in this way. Here, a flat snake body wraps around the arm, terminating with a majestically coiled tail. The snake's head turns upwards sharply, and its head and neck are adorned with a delicate diamond ribbing.
A revered deity in ancient Egypt, Amunet was a primordial goddess and a prominent figure in the Egyptian pantheon. Her name, which means "the hidden one," symbolized her role as a goddess of secrecy, esoteric wisdom, and the unseen realm. She was often depicted as a woman wearing a crown of tall feathers or, sometimes, with the head of a snake.
