Priscilla Ring

This tiny and exquisite ring features a cartouche with a beaded border at the front, which may be engraved with up to five letters or a design of your choice - or left beautifully blank! Our ring is based on an Etruscan example of the sixth century BC.

One ancient Priscilla was an early Christian at Rome; a noblewoman of the first century AD. Wife of a Roman consul, she was a strong leader, and had a great hand in leading the early Christian community after the death of St Paul. She eventually donated the land for Christian burials within catacombs that today carry her name.
